Khushi Kapoor is preparing for her much-anticipated big-screen debut in Loveyapa, directed by Advait Chandan. She will be sharing the screen with
Junaid Khan, son of
Aamir Khan, who is also making his first theatrical appearance. Their pairing has already generated excitement as one of Bollywood’s newest on-screen duos.
During the SCREEN Live event in New Delhi on Tuesday, both Khushi and Junaid spoke about their upcoming film and shared some lighthearted anecdotes about their families. Reflecting on her bond with her sister,
Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi mentioned how Janhvi had always been passionate about food and enjoyed experimenting in the kitchen. She recalled that her sister had been feeding her since childhood, jokingly referring to herself as a "guinea pig" when it came to Janhvi’s food experiments.
Khushi went on to describe how Janhvi’s enthusiasm for cooking intensified during the lockdown, leading to some interesting culinary combinations. She admitted that she had put on weight during that period, attributing it to Janhvi’s habit of mixing unusual ingredients and insisting that she try them. According to Khushi, Janhvi not only loved food herself but also took great pleasure in feeding others, constantly coming up with unique recipes to try.
Through her anecdotes, Khushi offered a glimpse into their close sibling bond, where food played a key role in their shared experiences. The lighthearted revelation added a personal touch to the conversation, giving fans a peek into the Kapoor sisters' dynamic beyond the glamour of Bollywood.
