Speaking about Alia, in an interview with Screen, Sheeba said, "When she just says her lines and is rehearsing with you, you feel like, damn, she’s ready." She added that Alia is a well-prepared actress who lights up the screen and looks lovely, saying, "She has gotten it all."

Sheeba has also worked with Alia’s sister, Pooja Bhatt. Talking about the similarities between the two, she said, "Pooja and I were contemporaries. We were both parallel leads in a film. I don’t remember if the film was released. But I think it was her, me, and Salman. Both Pooja and Alia are very chatty. They are both very similar. Both of them are great actors. It’s like they are genetically blessed by the acting angel or something."

However, the scene was later changed to a peck on the cheek due to a creative decision. She described the moment as adorable and fun, adding that it was a pleasure working with Dharmendra.
