Vihaan Samat undergoes physical transformation for two different roles

Actor Vihaan Samat is receiving praise for his performances in "CTRL" and "Call Me Bae." His role in the former garnered attention for the physical transformation he underwent.
Vihaan transformed himself to portray Joe Mascarenhas, a Christian techie. He altered his hairstyle and gained weight to match the youthful look required for the character. " While preparing to play Joe Mascarenhas in CTRL, I immersed myself in the tech world by spending time with friends working in the field.I even tweaked my diet, adding some junk food, which led to a bit of weight gain that helped me achieve Joe's appearance. Since he is a tech activist and influencer, a role very different from any I’ve done before, I wanted to fully capture his character in the most authentic way," he said.
After that he quickly shed the extra pounds to prepare for his other role. He explained, "It created a more boyish charm, and then I began to lose that weight as soon as I had to shoot for Call Me Bae. I went on a very strict diet and worked out five days a week."
In both projects, Vihaan seemed dedicated to accurately portraying his characters through significant physical changes. This is the actor's second collaboration with Ananya Panday, after receiving praise for his performance in "Mismatched."
