The guardians of our frontiers; our armed forces and police personals are always at the forefront in adversities and have offered their lives for the service of the country. Their duty and sacrifice have never failed to amaze us. They are the real-life heroes of this nation.
Today, well known Indian army veteran Major Gaurav Arya took to his twitter handle to share an interesting video of police personnel undertaking their routine march singing a Bollywood song.
The force was singing the very famous
Jeetendra song 'Dhal Dhal Gaya Din Ho Gayi Sham' from the 1970 film 'Humjoli'.
Sharing the video, Major Gaurav Arya wrote, "Cannot verify video but I am told this is Nagaland Police. Most heartwarming. Made me smile. I grew up in Aizawl & Shillong. In St. Edmunds, I had Khasi, Naga, Mizo & Manipuri friends. Anything from NE means friendship & happy memories. “Aage jaake kya karega...peeche mur”
The song is sung by Asha Bhonsle and Mohd Rafi and picturized on Jeetendra and Leena Chandavarkar. The lyrics are penned by
Anand Bakshi and music composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal.
