Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, who are known for their work ethics and outstanding performances in their respective fields, are also lauded for their humble lifestyle. The couple is often seen seeking refuge in spirituality, which is another aspect of their life that inspires their fan. Also, it is worth noting that Virat and Anushka are enlightening a path of devotion and spirituality for their kids Vamika and Akaay, at a very young age. An example of the same was seen when Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, along with their kids Vamika and Akaay, paid a visit to renowned spiritual guru Premanand Ji Maharaj at Vrindavan Dham in January 2025.
This was their second visit after January 2023. The couple kneeled and paid their respects to Premanand Ji Maharaj, as they sought his blessings. The video of their visit went viral on social media, where Anushka Sharma said to the spiritual guru, “Last time we came, I had some questions in my mind. I thought I would ask something but everyone sitting there had asked you something like that. It’s like I was speaking with you within our own heads. The next day I would open Ekantik Vartalap (Premanand’s sermons streamed online) and someone or the other would be asking the same question.”
“I would like to ask you to give us prem-bhakti,” she concluded.

Replying to the actress, the spiritual leader gave a very beautiful response. He said, “Both of you are very brave. To achieve all this in the world, to turn towards bhakti (devotion) is very difficult. I think you will certainly receive the answer for your devotion.”
This visit was made ahead of the Champions Trophy. It appears the peace and blessings from their spiritual journey helped the cricketer on the field. In the recent India vs Pakistan match, Virat made his 51st ODI century, and was given the title of ‘Man Of The Match.’ Now call it fate, his karma, devotion or dedication, or perhaps a blend of all, Virat made India proud with his recent win.
