Lisa from Blackpink has been at the top of the headlines for the past few weeks. May it be due to her powerful Coachella set or due to her alleged French beau, the idol has been the talk of the town as of late. Recently, it was revealed that the ‘MONEY’ singer has rejected the invitation to perform at Miss Universe 2025’s grand finale event, which is all set to take place in Thailand.
Recently, as reported by Pinkvilla, the CEO of the Miss Universe organisation confirmed the sad news for the public. In a livestream on a popular online streaming platform, Nawat Itsaragrisil had revealed that a personal invite to perform was shared with the singer. Due to her heritage and cultural connection with Thailand, the organisers had thought that she would be the perfect fit for the grand event.
As the news had gotten out, fans had been struck with excitement and had taken to social media platforms to show their emotions.


While fans were excited and ready for the performance, it was revealed that since the schedules of Miss Universe 2025 and Lisa did not line up properly, the idol was unable to confirm her performance for the grand event. Lisa’s team also explained the matter that the whole year has already been planned out for the idol and that it was not possible in any way to squeeze in the Miss Universe 2025 performance in the schedule.
The extravagant and highly popular pageant is all set to be held on 21 November 2025 this year. The event is going to take place in the IMPACT Arena in Muang Thong Thani. This is also known as one of the largest and most premier venues for any large events in Thailand.
