Veteran singer and actor, SP Balasubramanium, wowed the audiences with the chemistry that he shared with actress Lakshmi in the Telugu flick Mithunam. It has worked such wonders that now the actor duo is being cast in another Tamil flick which is incidentally being produced by
SPB’s son, Charan. The film, Moondre Moondru Vaarthai, is being directed by
Madhumita who seems to be in awe of the chemistry of the senior actors.
She said to a website, “I was moved by their performance in Mithunam. They were so naturally good in their roles that it prompted me to have them in my film. They play the hero's grandparents and have good scenes together.”
Charan’s home production, Capital Film Works will produce the film and will have debutant
Arjun Chidambaram in the lead along with Aditi Chengappa and Venkatesh Harinathan. The rest of the cast of the film is yet to be revealed. Mithunam was directed by Tanikella Bharani and it revolves around an aging couple.
