The latest love birds of Sandalwood, Vasishta Simha and Haripriya, whose love story grabbed all the attention in the media recently, held a press meet inviting the media to their marriage on January 26th at Mysore and clear all the rumors going on about their love story on the social media.
In the recent media interaction, Vasishta Simha started the conversation by thanking the press for coming to the press meet and was seen in a jovial mood sharing all the details and clearing all the news which are making rounds in social media about his love story with Haripriya. Before speaking to the press, Vasishta Simha and Haripriya showed their marriage invitation to the press where they had the hashtag #SimhaPriya honoring the tag given to them by their fans.
Actress Haripriya said there used to be tension before talking about movies in press meets but talking about her marriage in press meet has made her very happy. Before they wanted to speak about her engagement all their photos were snapped at the airport, and the engagement and the dog pics all made it to social media. Haripriya further added that she and Vasishta Simha have been friends since 2016 after she called on Vasishta Simha to appreciate his performance in 'Godhi Banna Sadharna Mykattu'. Since then their friendship began.
Haripriya also revealed that the lockdown is the reason why they fell in love as that was the time she was going through a bad phase in her life. That's when Vasishta Simha spoke to Haripriya where they shared each other's sorrows and held on to each other. Haripriya found some of the pain in Vasishta Simha like how she lost her father, he too lost his mother early in life. Haripriya found many of her father's qualities in Vasishta Simha making her get closer to him and exactly on her father's death anniversary, Vasishta Simha proposed to Haripriya in 2020. That's how their love story began and tried to maintain it as a secret for nearly 2 years. Haripriya admitted that if she is getting offers after marriage too, she doesn't mind continuing acting.
