In Mollywood, Make overs are becoming the flavour of the season and many homely look actresses went for a glam new brand Avatar. Amidst all these brouhaha, Sanusha Santhosh, the young star of Mollywood states that she doesn’t want to be a make over diva. Quiz her why she is not willing to take the glam route, Sanusha shoots back “I am not against the trend of make over’s.
But still, i am not ready yet to gone out of my way to look glam. The audience has also always perceived me as a homely girl-next door character. So, I don’t want to go ultra-glam and upset them. Frankly speaking, I can’t spoil my image and compromise on their love for me," she says with a smile.
But if you think this young lovely lass will settle for candy floss role, then you are mistaken. Sanusha says “I am doubly careful when it comes to work and want to take on substantial roles henceforth. Infact i want to do justice to my passion to act and that's the reason I'm here," she explains.
Despite having many lead roles in her kitty, the actress is now planning to concentrate on her studies to secure her future as well. So, doesn’t she want to be a full time actress? “Though Cinema is a passion, I can’t give a try on everything that comes my way. But I will be back, when I get something intense and meaningful to play. Now my current focus is on my studies,” said Sanusha who is busy with her graduation days.
Following her footsteps, her younger brother Sanoop Santhosh also made his debut in M’Town through the film
Philips and Monkey Pen. Sanusha says “Although he is younger to me for 9 years, he seems to be my big brother. His nod of approval is needed for everything and Infact he is my best critic,” She adds.
The bubbly actress kick started her career as a child artist in Vinayan's
Dada Sahib and has acted in acted in more than 30 films including Tamil and Telugu. “To be frank even now on the sets everybody considers me as a child and ofcourse, I am happy about it," quips sanusha.
