Soubin Shahir joins the sets of Mammootty starrer ‘CBI 5’

Mammootty starrer ‘CBI 5’ is undoubtedly one of the highly ambitious projects this year. Recently actor Soubin Shahir joined the sets of the film and director K Madhu shared the news via his official Instagram handle.

Sharing a picture with the actor Soubin Shahir, the ‘CBI 5’ director penned a note that read, “Soubin joins Team CBI. Happy to welcome one of my fav actors/ directors to my set.” Soon the post was flooded with comments from fans and one of them asked whether Soubin Shahir is playing an antagonist role in the film.

Previously the director-actor Dileesh Pothan joined the sets of ‘CBI 5’.Director K Madhu shared a picture with Dileesh Pothan and penned a note that read, “Delighted to be with one of my favorite actor/director Dileesh Pothan, who joined the CBI team.”

Recently, the makers unveiled a glimpse of Mammootty’s look as the character Sethurama Iyer CBI and the fans were enthralled to see the investigative officer making a comeback after a long gap of 17 years.
The upcoming fifth and final installment of the CBI series is scripted by SN Swamy and the cinematography is done by Akhil George. The music composer Jakes Bejoy will be reprising the iconic CBI background score which was originally composed by Shyam.
‘CBI 5’ features actors Mammootty, Asha Sarath, Sai Kumar, Renji Panicker, Soubin Shahir, Dileesh Pothan, and Kaniha. As per the reports, actor Jagathy Sreekumar will be also reprising his role as the CBI officer Vikram.
