“This birthday was special in many ways,” says Aparna Balamurali in a gratitude note

Actress Aparna Balamurali celebrated her birthday on Monday (Sep 11). The National award-winning actress turned 28, and she observed the special occasion with her loved ones. The ‘Soorarai Pottru’ took to her social media handle to share a glimpse of her birthday celebration. In the pictures, Aparna Balamurali can be seen having a gala time with her friends in Kuttikkanam, a hill station in Kerala’s Idukki district.
Sharing the photos, Aparna Balamurali also exclaimed that this birthday was special for her in more ways than one. “So much gratitude. So many reasons to be thankful for!
This birthday was special in many ways. The biggest gift I could ever ask for, Good people and great memories. Even though few important faces are missing in the picture, I know how much effort you all took to make this happen. I love you guys for making it the most memorable day. Thank you @tho8amfarmstay for playing a biiggg and wonderful role in this. You guys made it extra special!” Aparna Balamurali said in her note.
She also expressed her gratitude for all those who extended heartwarming wishes on her birthday. “Also thank you to all for all the wonderful wishes and blessings,” she added.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Aparna Balamurali’s recent outing was ‘Padmini’. She essayed one of the lead roles in the film, which also had Kunchacko Boban. ‘Padmini’ was helmed by Senna Hegde.
Aparna Balamurali has some exciting projects in her kitty including ‘Mindiyum Paranjum', and 'Rudhiram'. ‘Mindiyum Paranjum’ is helmed by Arun Bose. Aparna Balamurali is essaying the lead role alongside Unni Mukundan in the upcoming film. Speaking to Kochi Times earlier, the co-writer said, “It is about how the relationship develops between a young couple and how they grow in their marriage. It looks at them through different phases in their young lives. The film has an atmospheric quality with the monsoon, region and the people. It is set in Idukki and there is a bit of travel in the story.” The release date is yet to be announced.
