Deepti Devi, Saurabh Gogate, Pushkaraj Chirputkar in the lead roles, is all set to release on April 13. The film directed by Harshvardhan, is a story of transformation of a Purohit’s (Hindu preacher) son, Niranjan, from a state of confusion about his father’s profession to accepting the same with a faith restored, after his encounter with an atheist girl.
The film was selected in Pune International Film Festival (PIFF) 2018. The story revolves around today’s age and time when religion is tightly coupled with politics and places of worship are seen as money making places for the priests. Similar conditions are created around Niranjan by his uncle, friends and politicians. When Antara enters in his life, he is attracted to her, but when he comes to know her strong negative opinion about priest and preachers, he hides his identity as a preacher.
Other actors in the film include Shubhankar Ekbote, Sujay Jadhav, Sidhdheshwar Zadbuke, Sunil Abhyankar and others.
