Mahesh Manjrekar confirms the theatrical release of 'De Dhakka 2' on THIS date

Siddharth Jadhav, Makarand Anaspure, Shivaji Satam and Medha Manjrekar starrer 'De Dhakka 2' is all set to release on January 1, 2022. Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and Sudesh Manjrekar, it is a sequel to the blockbuster film ‘De Dhakka’.
With the Maharashtra government announcing the reopening of theatres, filmmakers, actors and producers of Marathi cinema are locking release dates for their films and sharing the same.
Sharing the news with his fans, Manjrekar took to his Instagram handle to announce the release date of his Marathi film. He wrote, "दे धमाल हसवणुकीचा दुसरा डोस महेश मांजरेकर दिग्दर्शित दे धक्का २ तारीख ठरली!!! १ जानेवारी २०२२ थांबायचं नाय, गड्या थांबायचं नाय घाबरायचं नाय, गड्या घाबरायचं नाय"

While speaking exclusively on Etimes, on his collaboration with Mahesh Majrekar for 'De Dhakka 2', Sudesh had said "Mahesh has been part of my all films. We have completed the shooting of the film before lockdown in the UK. We want to release this film on theatre"
