Yesterday, the very famous bhajan singer Narinder Chanchal left the mortal world. He breathed his last at the age of 80, and everyone is mourning his demise. Punjabi singers Sukshinder Shinda and
Jasbir Jassi also expressed their grief.
Both the singers took to their social media handle to share a post for the late bhajan samrath, Narinder Chahal.
Sukshinder wrote - “Extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Shri Narendra Chanchal ji.
#NarendraChanchal ji who could move crowds with his brilliantly soulful Mata bhajans, his departure leaves a huge void in the beautiful field of Indian devotional music. #Rip #Waheguru 🙏”
Jasbir Jassi shared a picture of him with the late singer and wrote - “Sangeet jagat Tuhade sangeet te Insaniat nuu sada yaad Rakhega RIP @narinderchanchaljii” (the music world we remember both your music and humanity)
In 2020, Narinder Chanchal sang a song about the Covid-19. Months later, in November he was hospitalised owing to age-related illness. He could not recover from the same and left for a heavenly abode on January 22, 2021.
