Aathmika wonders why movie posters miss female lead’s name

Aathmika made her Kollywood debut with Hiphop Tamizha’s Meesaya Murukku. The actress delivered a convincing performance in the film and gained a lot of fans. The actress who has an active social media account shares her opinion on different topics. She recently raised an important question which has raised a few eyebrows on social media.
The actress shared a post questioning why the posters of many films don’t have the name of female lead.She posted, ‘I always wonder why a female leadname is not mentioned in any movie posters ??? Thinking face (sic)’ In the comments column a few people told Aathmika she has raised a valid question, but few others pointed out the posters of Asuran, Mookuthi Amman, Netrikann where the name of the female lead have been mentioned. A few days back many fans were unhappy that Sai Pallavi didn’t receive the credit she deserved for the success of Rowdy Baby, when the song touched 1 billion views.

Aathmika is part of Karthick Naren’s Naragasooran, which is a long pending release. She is currently working in Vijay Antony’s Kodiyil Oruvan. The film is directed by Ananda Krishnan. Nivas K Prasanna is composing music for the film.
