A bevvy of South Indian actors in Odia-Telugu bilingual 'Patnagarh'
An Odia-Telugu bilingual film, directed by Rajesh Touchriver, will see a bevy of South Indian stars soon work alongside the likes of Atul Kulkarni and Manoj Mishra.
The film is based on a true incident that took place on Feb 23, 2018 and saw the death of a groom and his grandmother due to a bomb located in a wedding gift. ‘Patnagarh’ is written by Ravi K Punnam and will feature music by George Joseph. The film will see the likes of Tanikella Bharani, Rajeev Kanakala, Madhu Shalini and Sana in key roles in the film.
The thriller also stars Ishika Singh, Yashpal Sharma, Shiju, Chinmay Mishra, Pushpa Panda, Chittaranjan Tripathi, Anu Choudhury, Revathy Sampath and more in key roles. The film is reportedly being made on a budget of Rs 5 Cr, making it the costliest Odia film ever made. Atul Kulkarni will be seen essaying the role of an IPS officer in the film that was previously titled ‘Bullet Raja’. Reports also state that Madhu Shalini will be seen essaying the role of the grieving bride.
