Sukumar's daughter Sukriti and Mahesh Babu's daughter Sitara share a close bond. In a recent viral video, Mahesh Babu's daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni is seen promoting Sukriti's debut film 'Gandhi Tatha Chettu' as it streams online.
Sukriti Veni, the 14-year-old daughter of renowned filmmaker Sukumar, has made her screen debut with 'Gandhi Tatha Chettu', a Telugu drama film. The movie, directed by Padmavathi Malladi, premiered at the Minsk International Film Festival in November 2024 and was released in theatres on January 24, 2025. Recently, it became available on Amazon Prime Video.


The two were recently seen in a viral video promoting 'Gandhi Tatha Chettu'. The video begins with Sukriti sharing the details about the digital release of the film where Sitara enthusiastically encourages viewers to watch the film, saying, "go watch it now, cause we love her".
Both the rising stars were also spotted together at events, including Dua Lipa's concert in Mumbai, where they met the pop star backstage and took memorable photos. Sitara and Sukriti attended the concert with their mothers, Namrata Shirodkar and Sukumar's wife, respectively. They were joined by Aadya, the daughter of filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally. The group was visibly thrilled by the electrifying performance.

'Gandhi Tatha Chettu' tells the story of a young girl who sets a nonviolent campaign to protect her grandfather's beloved tree from demolition, inspired by Mahatma Gandhi's philosophy of peaceful resistance. The film was released on January 24th, 2025.
The film features Sukriti Veni alongside Ananda Chakrapani, Rag Mayur, and Nehal Anand Kunkuma. The music is composed by Ree, with cinematography by Vishwa Devabattula and Srijitha Cheruvupally. 'Gandhi Tatha Chettu' has been praised for its simplicity and wholesomeness, with a runtime of 114 minutes.
