Avakai Biriyani.' Praneeth says, the way in which Praneeta was portrayed in the media has made him to make a movie on her life.
The teaser of the flick was released on the eve of New Year's Eve. The plot focuses on a road trip undertaken by five women in search of freedom. One of the other characters in the film is inspired by Nirbhaya incident, adds the filmmaker.
The film has Khatera Hakimi, Kalpika Ganesh, Gayathri Gupta, Nesa Farhadi and Uma Lingaiah play central characters. The film took two years to complete and has been shot in locations in coastal Karnataka and Goa.
