Vishal's 'Saamanyudu' gets U/A certificate from Censor Board, film to release on Feb 4

The Censor Board has cleared debutant director Thu.Pa.Saravanan’s eagerly awaited crime action-thriller 'Saamanyudu,' featuring actor Vishal in the lead, with a U/A certificate. The film will be released in cinemas on February 4.
Apparently, the film's story revolves around a common man who stands up against the system and urges people to fight against the wrong.'Saamanyudu' has Dimple Hayathi playing the female lead. Other prominent actors such as Yogi Babu, Babu Raj, Kumaravel, Raveena Ravi, Marimuthu, RNR Manohar, Kavitha Bharathi, Tulasi and Akhilan SPR will also be seen in important roles.
Sharing the news, Vishal wrote, ''Glad to announce that #VVS has been censored with U/A!''

The trailer, which was released on January 19, got a tremendous response. 'Saamanyudu' was earlier scheduled for a theatrical release on January 14. But due to the third wave of the COVID-19, the release was postponed. Kavin Raja is the head of the cinematography department, while Yuvan Shankar Raja composed music. S.S. Murthi is the art director and N.B. Srikanth is the editor.

Vishal is also to act in an upcoming movie titled 'Enemy', while he will kickstart Karthik Thangavelu's upcoming movie soon. Vishal's next movie 'Thupparivaalan 2' will begin soon as well.
