NEW DELHI: A video of external affairs minister S Jaishankar apologising to the nation circulating online is false, Press Information Bureau informed on Saturday.Cautioning the netizens against "false propaganda", PIB said that the video was AI-generated. "A doctored video showing EAM @DrSJaishankar apologizing is circulating online. The video is AI-generated and part of false propaganda.Stay alert. Don't fall for misinformation," it said.
Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, PIB's fact-checking unit has refuted several misleading claims circulated by Pakistani social media accounts. In another clarification, PIB dismissed rumors that the Bathinda airfield had been destroyed in a Pakistani attack, confirming that the airfield remains undamaged and is fully operational."Posts are being artificially spread, claiming that the Bhatinda Airfield has been destroyed!
