Melania Trump serves power-dressing lessons in a three-piece tan suit: A look at her signature menswear ensemble

Nobody does fashion like the current Flotus Melania Trump! The first lady has again picked a menswear-inspired suit from her wardrobe yet again and slayed it effortlessly like a true fashionista.
On Monday, Melania Trump made an appearance at Capitol Hill to urge lawmakers to vote for a 'Take it Down Act' bill that would make so-called 'revenge-porn' a federal crime.
For her first public solo appearance of the new administration, wherein she was addressing a pressing issue, Melania wanted to look strictly professional.
Melania Trump wore a three-piece suit from Ralph Lauren for the occasion. The tan suit consisted of a structured blazer featured with lapels, along with a fitted vest, and straight-leg trousers. Styled with a white shirt, and dark tie, Melania added a pair of nude heels to complete the look. Her side parted structured wavy hair was spot on, and her look was all things business.
The FLOTUS commanded power as she walked into the hallway, where she was photographed.

"It's heartbreaking to witness young teens, especially girls, grappling with the overwhelming challenges posed by malicious online content, like deepfakes," the first lady said. She added, "In an era where digital interaction are integral to daily life, it is imperative that we safeguard children from mean-spirited and hurtful online behaviour."
Melania Trump’s penchant for menswear outfits has been visible of late. Last month, Feb. 2025, the First Lady was spotted wearing a black suit for the 2025 National Governors Association dinner hosted at the White House. She wore a Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo suit with a black jacket, skinny pants, and a white tuxedo blouse for the occasion.


Meanwhile, the FLOTUS’ latest tan ensemble has sparked discussions online. Many have compared her outfit choice with former President Barack Obama, and even former VP Kamala Harris. One X user wrote, "I understand Obama just got fed up with Melania's constant begging and finally gave her one of his tan suits."

Another wrote, "Melania Trump is flawless. She rocked a beige suit today."

One X user commented, “Queen Letizia of Spain has decided to follow in the footsteps of Melania Trump and, as the first lady has done in her latest appearances, wear the most masculine suit, the greatest symbol of power in terms of clothing. I love it!”
