The controversy began ever since the popular host, Stephen A. Smith, accused LeBron James’ son, Bronny James, of using nepotism to find a place in the Lakers. While the debate between Stephen A. Smith and LeBron James is ongoing, Stephen recently made a mistake that has fans dragging the NBA star into this.

Recently, a clip of Stephen A. Smith on First Take has gone viral where he speaks about former head coach of the University of Arkansas, Nolan Richardson, and says, “God rest his soul” while referring to the ex coach.
Soon, Stephen A. Smith realised his mistake, and before starting the show on Friday, he said, “Oh, by the way, before we even begin the show, I just want to make sure say I am fully aware that Nolan Richardson is alive. Trust me, I apologize for that.”
But it seems like the apology came too late. A fan took to X and wrote, “Stephen A is so preoccupied with Lebron that he's forgetting who's alive and who's dead 😂”

Another fan commented, “Stephen A might be having the worst 2 week run for any media personality I have ever seen, loads of ignorance and misinformation and embarrassment”.

A third fan wrote, “Nolan literally met with the team a few days ago after their win over St John’s. Cal keeps him very close to the program: WTH, Stephen A Smith???”

A fourth fan joked, “Bron got him stuttering and killing people in the same breath”, while a fifth user commented, “That man Stephen A Smith needs to go away for 2 weeks or something. Go on vacation and come back at the start of the NBA playoffs 🤣 “
The controversy involving LeBron James and Stephen A. Smith has just gotten more intense ever since the NBA star confronted Stephen at a recent match.
Recently, LeBron James also made a post on his social media, trolling Stephen A. Smith. LeBron James posted an old boxing video of the popular host with a caption that read as, “🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 WHOMP WHOMP WHOMPPPPPPPP”.
Stephen A. Smith has yet to answer the NBA star.
