“He will never forget that” — LeBron James helping a young fan shoot in a contest puts Los Angeles Lakers fans in a cloud nine

LeBron James showed a wonderful gesture helping a kid to shoot as the ball stuck. The young fan, Anthony, who had 30 seconds in the clock to score 10 points, was struggling to get the ball to go through the basket. Amid his shots, one of his throws got stuck in the rim. James, seeing it from the courtside, rushed into the hardwood and made a wonderful jump to rescue the young fan.

The Los Angeles Lakers faced the New Orleans Pelicans on April 4. Before the game, there was a shooting contest when a young Lakers fan named Anthony came for the game for 10 points in 30 seconds.
“Fans let’s cheer on Anthony on three, two, one…go,” the contest started as the announcer gave the nod.
Anthony missed his first basket from the three-point range but did not hesitate to continue. His second throw was, however, dramatic as the ball got stuck. LeBron James surprised everyone as he rushed onto the court to aid Anthony. “You got help, Anthony,” the announcer said in excitement.
He also missed the next throw from the three. But then he added a different strategy and scored one point as 10 seconds left in the clock. Again, he went to the three-point range to throw another, unfortunately, he missed that one too. He had one more shot before the buzzer, but he beat it with a stunning three-pointer to total 4 points in 30 seconds.
“Buzzer-beater, Anthony. You’ve got 4 points,” the announcer said. “You didn’t get 10 points but guess what, you had a great moment… and you’re still going home with the Lakers price bag.”
As he was leaving the hardwood, a loud cheer erupted for Anthony.

Fans online did not hold back, as they rushed into the social media to shower praise for James for his heartfelt moment.
“He will never forget that,” one fan wrote.

“Lebron is the GOAT!” another wrote.

“That’s leadership and heart—always making plays, on and off the court!” one fan praised the heartfelt gesture.

“What a hero 🙌💪! Lebron is truly an amazing player 🏀” another hailed the Lakers legend.

Another wrote, “These are the things they don’t tell you about Lebron. He is a good dude!”
