The Golden State Warriors went on to fight the Western Conference battle against the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night, and Stephen Curry made sure it was a game to remember at the FedExForum in Memphis. The playoff seeding was on the line, and the Warriors needed a victory to leapfrog the Grizzlies in the standings. Curry, with his ever-charming charisma on the court, delivered a stunning performance, adding a stunning 52 points on the board while etching his name in the NBA history.

The Warriors' sharpshooter tallied 52 points on an efficient 31-of-51 shooting (60.0% from the field), including an impressive 12-of-20 from beyond the arc. He was perfect from the free-throw line, sinking all eight of his attempts. He grabbed 10 rebounds, dished out eight assists, alongside a strong defense with five steals and a block.
The Warriors stormed out of the gate, outscoring the Grizzlies 45-32 in the first quarter. While Memphis fought back in the second, cutting the halftime deficit to eight, they had no answer for the two-time MVP. Curry put on a masterclass, dropping 32 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and two steals in just 20 minutes of action. He was lights out from beyond the arc, hitting 8-of-10 from deep.
His incredible start placed him in rare company. According to the NBA: "With a 32-PT first half, Steph Curry has now tied LeBron James for the third-most 30+ PT halves (22) in the play-by-play era (1997-98)." He also set a new benchmark for the most halves with at least eight three-pointers in NBA history.
By the time Curry exited late in the third quarter, he had compiled a staggering 45 points, seven rebounds, six assists, four steals, and a block while shooting 14-of-23 from the field. His dominance also propelled him past an NBA icon.
