The debate over who’s the best player in the NBA continues to keep fans of the game entertained. Now former NBA player Danny Green has said that “we're never going to see a better scorer than?Kevin Durant at 7 feet. Green also praised Stephen Curry of Golden State Warriors but still put the Phoenix Suns star on top. However, the internet remained divided on Green’s views and even raised questions about Durant’s ability to steal a win.
Danny Green ranks Kevin Durant above Stephan Curry
Danny Green made the statement while sharing his views on the NBA’s all-time players list during his appearance on the Run It Back podcast on FanDuel TV. While talking to Michelle Beadle and former NBA player Chandler Parsons, Green was asked if MVP candidate Nikola Jokic has surpassed Kevin Durant.
To this he replied, "No, not yet. And it's kind of crazy to say it out loud because I feel like we're disrespecting bigs these days. But [Kevin Durant] is one of the most unique guys that I've ever seen play. I have him above a lot of people that most people don't have him above. I think this is a topic in the show, you know, 'most impressive career.' It's him and Steph [Curry]. I have him above Steph, because we're never going to see a better scorer than him at seven feet."
Internet reacts to Danny Green’s statement
Green’s statement was met with mixed reactions on the internet. An X user wrote in reaction to Green’s video, “Yes, KD is a great scorer. But failing to win a title with his own team disqualifies him from these kind of discussions.?Another said, “Durant is a scorer. He's just not a winner.?One more wrote, “Players' opinions matter but Jokic won with his own crew—something KD didn't. KD joined Steph's team to beat Bron. So I can't put him above those two guys.?br/>
A comment also read: “What? Hell nah. Until he wins 1 without Curry he’s not entering that convo. Steph won without him 2 times. Let’s not do this.?An X user went on to ask, “So what’s KD resume without Curry??br/>Also Read:
