Taylor Swift and Blake Lively’s old video resurfaces amidst the pop star "maintaining distance" from Lively

Taylor Swift and famous Hollywood actress, Blake Lively, were considered to be best friends until they completely stopped being spotted together after Justin Baldoni sued Lively. Back in December, Blake Lively’s It Ends With Us’ co-star, Justin Baldoni, sued her and her husband, Ryan Reynolds and somehow Taylor Swift’s name was involved in it. Since then, the pop sensation has maintained her distance from Blake Lively, but an old video of the two has now gone viral.


Recently, a fan account of Taylor Swift’s posted a clip of her with Blake Lively attending a match of Travis Kelce’s. It seems like this viral clip is from 2023 when on 1st October, the Kansas City Chiefs took the field against the New York Jets.
The video shows Blake Lively and Taylor Swift joking with each other as the pop star even does a little dance. Blake Lively is seen laughing at Taylor Swift’s moves. The caption for the video reads as, “taylor and blake when they spot travis on the field. they are just girls” and fans are here for it.

A fan commented, “Taylor's grin and hip shake? This video continues to be everything”, while another fan wrote, “No bc the giggling & hip bumps tay is doing… I love her in love!! 💛❤️”
A third fan commented, “HAHHAHAHAHA omg I love this”, while another user noted, “MY GIRLSSSSSSS”.


While Taylor Swift and Blake Lively were frequently spotted together, all of that has stopped since December 2024.
In February, as per DailyMail, a source revealed that “Taylor is not communicating with Blake. She was invited to SNL50, but with Blake there – and Kim Kardashian – it was the last place on earth she would be seen.”
The source continued, “Taylor is taking stock of which of her friends are good for her and who name drops her for personal gain after Blake-gate.”
Many fans were also expecting to spot Blake Lively at the Super Bowl LIX but Taylor Swift arrived with her other friend, Ice Spice, to the match.
While it is not confirmed what the situation is between Taylor Swift and Blake Lively, the pop star has not addressed the situation in public.
In the last few days, Taylor Swift has been mostly spotted hanging out with her boyfriend, the NFL star, Travis Kelce. The two were spotted on dinner dates in New York and as per DeuxMoi, they were also vacationing in Montana recently.
Blake Lively also has not addressed the controversy in public so it remains interesting to see how Taylor Swift will manage her high profile friendships. Currently, both Blake Lively and Taylor Swift are maintaining a low profile.
