Candace Cameron Bure had time for the rumors this weekend. During an Instagram Q&A, the Full House actress cleared up speculation that she had been named the Director of Programming for PBS by former U.S. President Donald Trump. She shut it down immediately.
"Being director of programming for PBS would be great, but this is FAKE NEWS," she wrote.
That wasn’t the only thing she addressed. She also talked about her career moves, past business ventures, and an awkwardly honest take on date nights with her husband, former NHL player Valeri Bure.

Candace Cameron Bure explains why she had to step away from her QVC clothing line

A fan asked if she still had her clothing line, and Candace Cameron Bure got real about it. She said she loved the brand and that it did well on QVC, but she had to make some tough business calls.
"I do hope to bring it back, possibly with a new distributor or even back to QVC in the future. I’m in continued prayer over it, waiting for God to open the right doors," she said.

Valeri Bure reacts as Candace Cameron Bure overshares their “ideal” date night plans

Candace Cameron Bure didn’t hold back when she shared what an ideal night out with her husband, Valeri Bure, looks like. In an interview with Us Weekly promoting the Great American Family Christmas Festival, she laid it out:
"The kids are going to get mad at me. I put great restaurant, wine, walk, sex."
Valeri Bure was quick to jump in. "She cannot say that. Certain things you don’t tell your kids!"
The couple also talked about how they first met—over lunch with Full House co-star Lori Loughlin and Candace Cameron Bure’s brother. Valeri Bure admitted he always wanted to move quickly when it came to their relationship.
"It was not right off the bat. We got to know each other over the phone. We talked for three or four months before we saw each other again. But I remember I had that special feeling in my heart that I do want to say that I love you. And I did."

Valeri Bure’s NHL career and Olympic medals make him more than just Candace Cameron Bure’s husband

Valeri Bure isn’t just “Candace Cameron Bure’s husband.” He played 10 seasons in the NHL, suiting up for the Montreal Canadiens, Calgary Flames, Florida Panthers, St. Louis Blues, and Dallas Stars between 1994 and 2005.
Hockey runs in the family. His brother, Pavel Bure, is an NHL legend. The two moved to the U.S. when Pavel signed with the Vancouver Canucks. Valeri Bure made a name for himself, not just in the NHL but on the Olympic stage, winning a silver medal in 1998 and a bronze in 2002 for Russia.
The man has accolades. And a wife who isn’t afraid to overshare.
