WrestleMania 41 is almost here, and fans are getting ready for one of the biggest events of the year. One match that has everyone talking is the World Heavyweight Championship match between Gunther and Jey Uso. But while many WWE Superstars are full of excitement before WrestleMania, Gunther has taken a different approach. He is serious, focused, and honest about how he feels going into the event.
In an interview, the champion talked about the pressure of being on top, his thoughts about Jey Uso, and his mindset as WrestleMania gets closer. Gunther gave clear answers that showed how much responsibility he feels as champion.

Gunther feels Jey Uso is not on his level

After the April 7 episode of WWE Raw in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Gunther joined Sam Roberts and Megan Morant on the official Raw Recap podcast.
Gunther did not try to hide his feelings about the WrestleMania 41 match. He said the story going into the event is not the one he hoped for, and he doesn’t think Jey Uso is on the same level as him. Still, he plans to do his job as champion. He said:
“I never had an issue with fitting in those situations. I always knew what I’m capable of. I always knew where I belonged, so it was never a question for me that I would end up in those positions. Even though this year it’s not the scenario I wanted to be in, I have an opponent that’s overreaching by a mile, that is not on my level, and that’s what I’m carrying around with me right now, and going into that, if you ask me, am I excited? I don’t know. I don’t think there’s much excitement to that. I think there’s mostly?I’m a professional. I’m a professional wrestler. I’m the World Heavyweight Champion. There’s a duty to fulfill, and I’m going to do that.?/span>

Gunther chooses not to share his emotions

When asked how he personally feels about the match, Gunther did not give a big emotional answer. Instead, he kept it private and explained that his job is to defend the title, not to talk about his feelings.
