The video game adaptation of Pixar's Wall-E may soon become available to PlayStation Plus users for free, a recent leak suggests According to a report by Gematsu, a games rating entity from Taiwan has shared the rating for this title and has listed it for release on Sony’s PS5 and PS4 consoles. While details are scarce, this report suggests Wall-E could join the PS Plus Game Catalog alongside recently added titles like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and upcoming March 2025 offerings.
Pixar's Wall-E game on latest PS consoles
Originally released in 2008, Wall-E debuted on various platforms, including PS3, PS2, and PSP for PlayStation users. The report suggests that now the game is set to arrive on PS5 and PS4. However, there are some challenges the game may face for the same.
Firstly, the report doesn't guarantee its inclusion in the PS Plus Classics lineup for March. While this is a distinct possibility, confirmation won't come until the full slate of games is revealed in a few weeks.
PlayStation has previously demonstrated its willingness to revive older Pixar/Disney titles on current-generation consoles. The most recent example is Up, which launched on PS5 and PS4 in late 2023 and was immediately added to the PS Plus Classics lineup for Premium members. Based on this trend, it is reasonable to expect a similar treatment for Wall-E.
This week, the newest additions to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog have been released, featuring titles such as Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, and TopSpin 2K25, among others. These are accompanied by the February 2025 monthly free titles—Payday 3, High on Life, and Pac-Man World: Re-Pac.
Games that may leave PS Plus in March
Based on the games listed on Japan’s PSN, Reddit users kayrakaanonline and biirudaichuki have suggested the games that may leave the service next month:
- Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 6
- Resident Evil 3
- Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot
- Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy
- Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R
- Life is Strange: True Colors
- Life is Strange 2
- Final Fantasy Type-0 HD
- Street Fighter V: Champion Edition
- Street Fighter V
This means PS Plus users only have a few days left to grab these games before they return to their full price.
