Director-producer Raj Chakraborty hospitalised

Tollyood director and producer, Raj Chakraborty has been hospitalised. According to sources, Raj was hospitalised yesterday (April 17) after feeling mild discomfort. Routine medical tests were done. While most of the reports indicate normal result, according to hospital sources, there is a urinary tract infection. Raj doesn’t have any serious medical issues but doctors advised him to remain admitted to run a few other tests.If everything remains normal, Raj is likely to be discharged from the hospital tomorrow.
Notably, actress Madhumita Sarcar has also been hospitalised. She underwent appendix removal surgery and the news of her hospitalisation left her industry peers and fans worried. Now, the news of Raj being admitted to a hospital has also come as a shock, leaving his industry colleagues and admirers deeply worried.
Raj, who is successfully handling his innings as a politician and director-producer, has a hectic schedule. While his current television project ‘Godhuli Alap’ is aired on a leading TV channel, Raj’s first web series is waiting for its release soon. He has been busy handling the post production of ‘Abar Proloy’. On the other hand, Raj’s political commitments have also kept him busy.
While Raj is busy with his work behind the camera for upcoming entertainment projects and political commitments, his wife Subhashree Ganguly is also a busy bee. Her recent web series, ‘Indubalar Bhater Hotel’, which marks her OTT debut managed to earn a lot of praises from the audience. She is also a part of the on-going season of ‘Dance Bangla Dance 12’, as a judge.
