Avika Gor becomes Manish’s assistant

Actor Manish Raisinghan, who had earlier written, starred in and shot a short film with Avika Gor, is part of another short film. And this time around, Avika, his onscreen wife in 'Sasural Simar Ka', has donned the hat of an assistant director on this project, which will also feature Barkha Bisht.

Manish and Barkha play a divorced couple who meet after several years on a night when an unfortunate incident involving a third character takes place. The story highlights the gaps between a couple.Manish reveals, “Avika, my little buddy and partner-in-crime when it comes to filmmaking, is an integral part of the project along with Barkha. I had never met Barkha before the shoot, but we still bonded over our Pune connection.”
