Celebrity Masterchef: Rajiv Adatia addresses judge Farah Khan as ‘aunty’; the latter reacts ‘Aaj to tu gaya’

The latest episode of Celebrity Masterchef was filled with fun, laughter, and a light-hearted blunder that left everyone in splits. As contestants geared up for a special Holi-inspired cooking challenge, Rajiv Adatia found himself in a rather amusing situation with judge Farah Khan.
During the challenge, Farah visited Rajiv’s counter, where his sister, Deepa, joined him as his sous chef. Complimenting their teamwork, Farah said, “Wow, he has made the dish, matching with your dress.” To this, Rajiv cheekily responded, "Hamari shakal milti hai na, aunty?" However, the moment he realized what he had just said, he knew he had put his foot in his mouth.

Farah, in her classic witty style, reacted, “Did he just call me aunty? Aunty bola? Gaya tera. Aaj toh tu gaya. Leke jao isko wapas London.” The entire set burst into laughter at this playful exchange.

As the conversation continued, Farah pointed out that Rajiv was in the black apron and asked Deepa about his chances in the competition. Deepa confidently replied that Rajiv had worked extremely hard, even scolding her in the process. Rajiv quickly clarified, “Do you think I would scold her? Do you know her profession? She is a criminal lawyer. She defends criminals.”
Usha Nadkarni, another contestant, playfully remarked, “Isiliye ye itna masti karta hai. Kuch bhi hoga toh behen hai.”

Rajiv then shared a heartfelt moment, saying, “She might look calm, but she is really strict. After our father passed away, and our mother went to work, she became like my second mother.”

As the fun continued, Rajiv unknowingly repeated his blunder, addressing Farah as “aunty” again. Realizing his mistake, he panicked, saying, “Why am I calling you aunty?” Farah, still amused, teased, “Aaj tu gaya eliminate.”
Rajiv quickly corrected himself, apologizing, “Sorry, Farah ma’am,” bringing the hilarious moment to a close.
