Ekta Tiwari to star opposite Chandrachur Singh

TV actress Ekta Tiwari, who claimed fame through Star Plus’s Tere Mere Sapne, is keeping a distance from the small screen these days. Reason? She is working on her upcoming movie.
And if sources are to be believed then she is set to share screen space with the actor who also made his debut with Tere Mere Sapne. Confused? Well let us clear the clouds.
Interestingly, Ekta Tiwari will share screen space with Bollywood actor Chandrachur Singh, whose first movie was Tere Mere Sapne. Yes! You heard it correct. Ekta Tiwari will now be seen along Chandrachur Singh in an upcoming movie ‘Chooda Ek Pratha’.
A source informs, “Chooda Ek Pratha is a movie based on old strict norms followed in certain sections of India. It’s a story of Chanda (Ekta Tiwari) who once get married in childhood and then is transferred from one man to another as a norm (Chooda-Pratha).”
“The movie is produced by Pravin Agarwal and is directed by Ravinder Singh Rajawat. The rest of the cast includes Shivani Wazir, Arjun Firoz Khan, Lokesh Tilakdhari, Banwari Lal Jhol, Gulshan Pandey, Seema Pandey,” adds the source.
We too hear that the famous Meghna Naidu, who made millions go crazy on her moves, will perform an item number while Jaswinder Narula will lend her voice for a track.
When contacted, Ekta Tiwari confirmed the news, “I am delighted to work with such a nice and cooperative production house and I am grateful to work with Chandrachur Singh, who is very senior to me.”
The movie is expected to release by January 2014!
