Actress Khushbu Rajendra, who portrays Isha Mishra in Ram Bhavan, is winning hearts with her compelling performance. The show’s engaging storytelling has captivated audiences, and Khushbu’s nuanced portrayal of Isha is making a strong impact.
Speaking about her approach to acting, Khushbu shares, “I look forward to meaty scenes where I can get my space to perform as an artist. That’s what drives me to come to the set every day. The excitement of delving deep into a character and bringing out emotions fuels my passion for acting.”
The actress also revealed her daily routine on set. “My typical day starts with reciting the Hanuman Chalisa, followed by makeup, hair, and reviewing my scenes for the day. It’s a process that prepares me mentally and helps me stay focused on my character,” she explains.
Khushbu believes that a positive and respectful work environment enhances performance. “When you are surrounded by like-minded people who treat male and female opinions equally, the space becomes beautiful and mentally safe to perform or even express an opinion. It’s essential for any artist to thrive,” she says.
On the topic of on-screen chemistry, Khushbu dismisses the idea that off-screen rapport is necessary for great performances. “If we are good actors individually, the scenes will naturally turn out to be outstanding. Off-screen chemistry is not a requirement for that,” she asserts.
She also praises producer Rahul Kumar Tewary for his guidance and vision. “Rahul sir’s approach to storytelling and the way he explains the nuances of a scene instills confidence in us. It gives us a headstrong mindset while performing, and I am sure it reflects in our performance on screen,” she adds.
