Exclusive! Priyanka Chahar Choudhary on speculations around her personal life: It does bother me; but I am practical

Actress Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, who recently walked for Bombay Times Fashion Week, has not announced her upcoming projects. She clarifies, “There are a lot of offers, however, I want to be selective. I do not wish to be a prop and just be a heroine for the namesake in a project. I don’t want to do that. I want to perform.So when I see a character adding value to the story, I will do that.”
Ask her what kind of projects are getting offered to her and she replies, “I get calls for web shows and movies as well. But then you never know if things are working out or not. You just wait and do your work. That's what I do.”
Priyanka, who is best known for Udaariyan, wore a black dress by the brand Niyara and walked as the show stopper. “With Bombay Times it is always fun. So if you see the collection by Manasi Shetty, she has designed it very nicely. She has given it a touch of western in Indian attire, which is very cocktail party like. That is my kind of vibe.”
Priyanka, who is best known for Udaariyan, also addresses how she reacts to the reports about her personal life. She says, “Honestly, I just laugh. Because people assume things like this must have happened or something else. But they assume so I literally laugh about it and say, ‘Dude, you have no idea. Like do you know about my life? Are you living my life?’ So that is the kind of attitude I have. You don't know my story. Let me just do my part.” Does it bother her? “It does; it definitely does. I'm a human being too. I have emotions too and I have extreme emotions, but at the same time I am practical also. So, I just try to balance it practicality and emotional.” Ask her if she wishes to comment about the entire unfollow episode, she signs a no comments.
