Rohit Chandel: I am no longer shooting for Aami Daakini; I wish the new leads all the best

Rohit Chandel, who was last seen in the TV show Pandya Store, was all set to play the lead in an upcoming show Aami Daakini, but he got replaced after shooting for the show for two months.
The first teaser of the show went on air in February. It had Rohit Chandel in the teaser however after two months now Hitesh Bharadwaj has been roped in to play the lead. Rohit said, "I gave my best to the show for two months. I shot for the show and everything went well. However, now I am not doing the show and I wish the entire team of Ami Daakini the very best. I am focussing on new projects and will start shooting for something new very soon."
The show was earlier supposed to be shot in Kolkata but after two months the makers decided to shoot the show in Mumbai, a source confirmed. The source shared further, "Many things were changed and only Sheen Dass has been retained from the original cast. The show will go on air soon with Hitesh Bharadwaj and Rachi Sharma playing the lead roles."
Rohit played the lead role in Pandya Store after the leap. In an earlier interview he said, "It was a good show. I enjoyed shooting for the show. It was a good opportunity." Rohit has also played the lead in historical show Kashibai Bajirao Ballal, Shakti, Tamanna and Yeh Un Dinon KI Baat Hai. He added, "I want to focus on different roles."
