Tejaswini Shekar makes her Sandalwood debut
Actress Tejaswini Shekar, who is currently seen in the serial Sangarsha, is making her Sandalwood debut with a yet-to-be-titled movie that has Arjun Yogi and Supritha Sathyanarayan in lead roles. The shoot of the movie, directed by Sreeraj, currently progressing in Bengaluru.
Speaking to us, Tejaswini says, “I am excited about my debut movie which is a thriller.
I am one of the heroines in the movie along with Supritha Sathyanarayan. I will be seen in the second half of the movie which has a twist in the tale.” Tejaswini further adds that there is no question of quitting serials to concentrate on films, “I will continue to work in both films as well as serials. I just need to find the balance between working on the silver screen and small screen, which I am confident of finding.”
Tejaswini Shekar is playing the role of district collector Indira in the serial Sangarsha. Her character wants everyone in the village to get education, but she faces stiff opposition from Bhairadevi, played by Vanitha Vasu, who doesn't want villagers to be educated as she thinks she would lose control over them. The serial, which is helmed by Lokesh, is the remake of the Tamil serial Ponnaku Thanga Manasu.
