After ‘Vincenzo’, Song Joong Ki likely to star in a new revenge drama

While actor Song Joong-ki is still riding on the success of his last drama ‘Vincenzo’, the latest reports suggest that he might be seen in an upcoming revenge drama ‘Chaebol Family’s Youngest Son’ (literal title).
Responding to the reports, Song Joong Ki’s agency said that the actor is currently reviewing the casting offer for the series.
Talking about the series, ‘Chaebol Family’s Youngest Son’ is based on a hit web novel that focuses on a murder victim who was famed for embezzlement by a chaebol family despite being loyal to them for over 10 years.Years later, the victim is reborn as the youngest son of the family and plans his revenge on them by gradually taking over their assets.
Reportedly to air on JTBC, the revenge drama is likely to go on floors in the second half of this year. It is likely to premiere in 2022.
On the work front, Song Joong-ki was last seen in ‘Vincenzo’.
