Get ready to experience the enchanting magic of love and everlasting bonds with the digital premiere of the Korean film "Past Lives" on October 13th.
Directed by Celine Song and featuring a stellar cast including Greta Lee, Teo Yoo, and John Magaro, this heart-wrenching love story promises to captivate the hearts of viewers. The central theme of "Past Lives" revolves around the question of whether two individuals can truly be destined for each other.

The film follows the poignant journey of childhood friends who are separated when one of them immigrates to America. Nearly a decade later, their paths converge once again when Hae Sung embarks on a quest to find Nora. In the process, they confront destiny, love, and the life-altering choices they made along the way.
Celine Song, the director behind the film, shared insights into the unique challenges faced during its production. She remarked, "Until that scene where Hae Sung [Teo Yoo] and Arthur [John Magaro] meet each other for the first time, I made sure that the actors never actually met. Credit to my crew for making sure that they never ran into each other, which was a little extra logistical thing, but I really believed in it."

Greta Lee, one of the stars of the Lionsgate Play film, provided a glimpse into her character, Nora, and what sets her apart in the realm of romantic dramas. Lee noted, "She is so certain about what she wants. We see love stories, romantic dramas where the woman at the center is lost in her desires, and channels life solutions and projects them on different men. This is not that."

'Past Lives' will also be showcased with a special series of screenings at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF). This year the line up also includes the Korean film include 'Searching', starring John Cho. The world premiere of South Korean director Jang Kun-jae's "Because I Hate Korea" will take centre stage on opening night.
The film, which revolves around a young woman's decision to abandon her monotonous life in South Korea and go overseas alone, is based on the best-selling 2015 novel of the same name by Chang Kang-myoung.
