Oh My Girl's Seunghee lands role alongside Kim Tae Ri in upcoming drama ‘Jeong Nyeon’

Oh My Girl's Seunghee is set to make her mark in the world of K-dramas once again, as she takes on the role of Cho Rok in the anticipated new drama ‘Jeong Nyeon’. The news was confirmed by Seunghee's agency, WM Entertainment, on February 19 in a statement that reads, “Seunghee will take on the role of Cho Rok in the drama ‘Jeong Nyeon’ and take on the challenge of her second drama.Please show lots of interest”.
‘Jeong Nyeon’ is adapted from a popular webtoon and is set against the backdrop of the 1950s. The storyline revolves around Yoon Jeong Nyeon, portrayed by acclaimed actress Kim Tae Ri, a young woman hailing from Mokpo with a remarkable singing talent but lacking in financial means and formal education. Determined to pursue her dreams of prosperity, Jeong Nyeon embarks on a journey that leads her to join a women's traditional theater company, setting the stage for a captivating narrative filled with ambition, struggle, and success.
Joining an ensemble cast that includes stellar names such as Kim Tae Ri, Shin Ye Eun, Ra Mi Ran, Moon So Ri, and Jung Eun Chae, Seunghee's portrayal of Cho Rok adds intrigue to the unfolding drama.
