Hisar’s DN College principal gets award for ensuring uninterrupted classes for 6,000 students during Covid

Hisar: Vikramjit Singh, principal of Dayanand College here, has been honoured with the Mahatma Hansraj Award for excellence in education. The award was presented to him by Punam Suri, president of DAV College managing committee, at a ceremony held in Himachal's Sujanpur Tira recently.
Singh has been recognised for his exemplary leadership during the Covid-19 pandemic when he implemented a robust online education system through Google Classroom, ensuring uninterrupted learning for nearly 6,000 students. His efforts placed Dayanand College at the forefront of technology-driven education in Haryana during the crisis.
Under his guidance, the institution not only maintained academic continuity but also achieved significant recognition, including an A++ Grade from NAAC, Bengaluru, distinguishing it as one of the top colleges in the state.
