Early Thursday morning, a poultry truck crashed into a stationary excavator on the Nashik highway near Thane, injuring the driver and two associates. The truck, carrying 1,600 hens from Alephata to Vasant Vihar, reportedly lost control, leading to the collision. While no fatalities were reported, the accident caused minor traffic congestion as authorities worked to clear the damaged vehicle.

THANE: At least three people, including the driver of a poultry-laden truck and his two associates, were injured after their vehicle rammed into a stationary excavator on the Nashik highway near Thane early Thursday.

The incident took place around 6am on the Nashik-to-Mumbai lane, when the truck, carrying nearly 1,600 hens from Alephata to Vasant Vihar, crashed after the driver lost control. The incident led to minor traffic congestion during peak morning hours.
