Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2025 iteration of its popular commuter motorcycle, Passion Plus, priced at Rs 81,651, ex-showroom. While the design and core mechanicals remain unchanged, the new model comes equipped with an upgraded engine that complies with the latest OBD-2B emission regulations.
2025 Hero Passion Plus: All you need to know
The heart of the Passion Plus continues to be the familiar 97.2cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 8 bhp and 8.05 Nm of torque. However, the powertrain now features updates that help the motorcycle meet stricter environmental norms. The engine is paired with a 4-speed gearbox.

Apart from this emission-related upgrade, no mechanical or design alterations have been made to the motorcycle. Speaking of hardware, the model gets telescopic front forks, twin rear shock absorbers, 18-inch alloy wheels, and 130 mm drum brakes at both ends. Other feature highlights of the model include a semi-digital meter featuring Hero’s i3S (Idle Stop-Start System) tech, along with readouts for speed, fuel level, trip distance, and more. You also get useful indicators like the side-stand alert and headlight status. The motorcycle also has a USB charging port.
The 2025 version of the bike is available in just two colour options: Black with Red accents and Black with Blue accents. With this update, Hero MotoCorp is steadily upgrading its range to meet OBD-2B compliance norms. The Passion Plus follows in the footsteps of the recently updated Splendor Plus and further. The Rs 1,750 hike in price reflects the cost of these technical changes, but the bike continues to be one of the most value-for-money options in the commuter segment.
