Hyderabad: BRS working president
KT Rama Rao demanded the govt to take action against those responsible for the death of deer and damage to forest land in the University of Hyderabad (UoH). He also said the fight to protect 400 acres at Kancha Gachibowli would continue till the govt drops the auction proposal.
"The govt says videos were AI, but we call it ‘Anumula intelligence'– Revanth Reddy's shortsightedness," he told media. "When celebrities such as Salman Khan were jailed in the black buck hunting case, why did the Telangana govt not book a case against those responsible for deer deaths?" KTR claimed the land auction was a big scam and he would reveal all details in a couple of days. He condemned govt for booking cases against students and environmentalists.
He also dismissed allegations that UoH protests were politically motivated. He said it was the students and staff of the university who launched the agitation, and BRS, citizens and environmentalists expressed their solidarity with them.
