Imphal: Forest dept of Manipur conducted a one-day workshop-cum-meeting on promoting industrial capacity and ease of doing business for veneer plywood and wood-based industries in Imphal on Tuesday.
The workshop was graced by Anurag Bajpai, principal chief conservator of forest and head of forest force (PCCF & HoFF); L Joykumar Singh (CCF), RK Amarjit (CF central circle), Gaithaolu Thaimei (CF western circle), and Ngachonmi Ramshang, general secretary of the All Manipur Veneer and Plywood Manufacturing Association. Speaking at the event, Anurag Bajpai (PCCF & HoFF) emphasised the collaboration between goods-based industries and the forest department to foster the state’s economic growth.
