CBSE) has released a notice about a career guidance handbook for parents. Recognizing the challenges of a competitive job market, the board has outlined recommendations to assist parents in supporting their children in making informed career choices after completing school.
The official notice reads, ‘Career guidance plays a pivotal role in empowering students to make informed decisions about their future. In today’s ever evolving and dynamic job market, collaboration among schools, parents, and stakeholders is essential to equip students with the right tools and insights for meaningful career choices. To support this endeavor, CBSE is sharing the "Parents’ Handbook on Careers after School in India" by Shri Mohit Mangal.’
CBSE has stated that this comprehensive guide provides valuable insights and practical advice to assist schools, parents and guardians in helping their children explore career options effectively.
The board has written to all the heads of the schools that are affiliated with CBSE regarding the parents’ handbook.
Along with the parents’ handbook, the board has also released the
Entrance Exams 2025 guide and compiled 21
Higher Education Vertical books, which will serve as essential references for both students and parents. These resources provide structured guidance on various academic and professional pathways.
