This Day Last Year: When Paoli’s all-smile selfie with Dev won hearts

Tollywood is thriving on nostalgia amidst the nationwide lockdown and here’s a throwback from last year when Paoli Dam’s selfie with Dev made fans excited about their next film together.
This was not the first time Paoli shared the screen with Dev. Interestingly, in Ravi Kinagi’s 2007 film ‘I Love You’ the dusky beauty played Dev’s sister. And, last year two back to back films saw Dev-Paoli working together.One is ‘Sanjhbati’ and the other one is ‘Password’.
During the shoot for ‘Sanjhbati’, directed by Leena Gangopadhyay and Saibal Banerjee, it wasn’t all work no fun! So, a series of candid pictures from the set bombard on social media. And among all those pictures, a cute selfie from Paoli with her lead actor Dev won hearts.

“So on popular demand here goes our first selfie together from the sets of #Sanjhbati,” Paoli captioned the picture.
The film grabbed eyeballs due to its ensemble cast featuring Dev and Soumitra Chatterjee for the first time along with Lily Chakraborty, Paoli Dam and Sohini Sengupta in the lead.
The story has an elderly woman at its centre Lily Chakraborty will essay the role. It will be interesting to see Dev playing such a realistic, down to earth character which the directors assure will surprise the audience.
