Ali Fazal is having the time of his life on the sets of his Hollywood film 'Kandahar'.
The actor took to his social media handle to share a couple of goofy clicks with his co-stars
Gerard Butler,
Navid Negahban and Bahador Foladi. Ali, presumably still in costume, shared the clicks and admitted, "I have no freakin clue why I am holding an ostrich egg in my hand!"
"This one is for LOVE!! Christmas with the Kandahar gang!! Some here and some still on the dance floor.. and am sorry i have no freakin clue why I am holding an ostrich egg in my hand!!! Or is it?? The film, based on true incidents, draws inspiration from the life of a former military intelligence officer's experiences at the Defense Intelligence Agency in Afghanistan. 'Kandahar' commenced shooting in Saudi Arabia's Al Ula in December.
This film marks the first collaboration between Ali and director Ric Roman Waugh, who previously worked with Butler in widely appreciated and noteworthy projects like 'Greenland' and 'Angel Has Fallen'.
On the work front, Ali is also shooting for filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj's directorial 'Khufiya; and is also awaiting the release of 'Death On The Nile' co-starring
Gal Gadot and Armie Hammer. The film is slated for a worldwide release on 11th February.
