Raaj Shaandilyaa reveals his next film with Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal will have all elements of 'Hera Pheri': 'I have developed this one for them...'

Raaj Shaandilyaa, who is currently promoting his upcoming film, 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video', starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri, recently confirmed that he is working on something with Akshay Kumar.
In an interview with PInkvilla, the director mentioned that he was in talks with Akshay about 'Hera Pheri 3', but the project didn’t pan out, leading him to focus on 'Dream Girl 2'. While he didn’t grasp the plot of 'Hera Pheri 3' at the time, he has since been working on a new script for Akshay Kumar.Raaj revealed that this new project has a similar vibe to the Hera Pheri franchise and plans to present it to Kumar soon.

Raaj described his new project as a chaotic, three-character film with a vibe reminiscent of Hera Pheri. He emphasised that the script he’s developed for Akshay, Paresh Rawal, and another key actor captures the essence of the Hera Pheri franchise. He noted that the script is grounded and relatable, asserting that successful comedy hinges on creating characters that resonate with the audience and spark genuine laughter.

Meanwhile, 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video', promises to be a family entertainer with a stellar cast featuring Vijay Raaz, Malaika Sherawat, and Tiku Talsania. Scheduled for a theatrical release on October 11, 2024, it’s one to watch for.
