College Kumar is set to be remade in Tamil and Telugu

Director Hari Santhosh (of Alemaari Santhu) is set to remake his film College Kumar in Tamil and Telugu. The film was flagged off on Sunday in Chennai, while the team will head to Bengaluru next to shoot the first schedule of the film. The makers of the Kannada original will be backing this film as well. “We have retained the same story, but the treatment and some of the content has been tweaked to suit the Tamil and Telugu audience.Prabhu will be playing the role originally essayed by P Ravi Shankar, while Madhoo will play the role that Shruthi had essayed. We will have Rahul Vijay and Priya Vadlamani playing the young lead pair. Qutub-E- Kirpaa, who are students of music composer AR Rahman’s KM College of Music & Technology, and have composed for a Hollywood film previously, will be composing music for the film,” says Santhosh.
